Scope of Work
A digital-first campaign that turned a WhatsApp chat into a sold hamper.
Challenge
When the festive season arrives, spending shifts toward gifting, delivery, and at-home celebration. For a brand built heavily on dine-in like HolyCow, that meant flat growth during the season that should have driven the most demand. Online food gifting was already growing 15 to 20% a year, so attention was crowded and shoppers were price-sensitive. The harder truth was steak itself. People see it as a celebration meal, but not as something you give as a gift.
Approach
Consumers were still spending, just redirecting budgets toward gifts that feel special, are reliable to buy, and can be shared. A steak hamper met all three. So instead of fighting on price, we repositioned HolyCow as a festive gifting brand and built the hamper to do two jobs, driving incremental revenue while introducing the brand to every household that received one. The play was occasion ownership, becoming the steak brand for year-end celebrations.
Execution
Meta Ads carried the story across the funnel.
In collaboration with HolyCow, we built a digital-first funnel. Short-form videos of 6 to 15 seconds built awareness on Reels, Stories, and Facebook, while static creative highlighted the festive packaging and steak quality. From there, full-funnel sequencing guided people from that first look into conversion-focused ads, so every rupiah of media spend worked for both brand exposure and measurable sales.
Execution
Click-to-WhatsApp turned interest into orders inside a single session. Festive shoppers could ask about pricing, delivery dates, and bulk orders and get answers instantly, collapsing the path from discovery to purchase. The setup let us answer a flood of festive inquiries fast, and those conversations naturally opened up upselling and bulk orders that lifted average order value.
Execution
Weekly optimization protected the return.
We optimized weekly against cost per WhatsApp conversation and conversion rate. Mid-campaign, we moved spend away from low-converting placements toward high-intent WhatsApp traffic and sharpened the messaging around ready-to-gift bundles. Roughly 70% of budget went to paid media and 30% to creative and production, while first-party data and retargeting kept ads in front of the people most likely to buy.
Result
Each hamper worked as a brand introduction to a new household, and after the campaign HolyCow saw repeat orders and dine-in redemptions from first-time hamper buyers. The perception shifted from a dine-in steak destination to a brand worth gifting and sharing. WhatsApp earned a permanent place as a sales and lead channel, turning a seasonal promotion into a repeatable growth model.
