BACKGROUND

An intelligent beauty experience powered by Paragon.

ParagonCorp didn’t just want to host another beauty event. They set out to redefine how people experience beauty itself. With a mix of science, tech, and immersive brand storytelling, Beauty Science Tech was built to show what happens when AI meets skincare, and diagnostics meet discovery. But to bring it all together, they needed more than beautifully designed booths and cutting-edge product demos. They needed a digital layer to unify it all—something that could guide users, collect data, and extend every interaction beyond the physical space. So we built them the app that powered it. Ensuring smooth navigation across this journey required a well-designed user experience, balancing intuitive interactions and gamification elements to encourage participation.

USER EXPERIENCE

Turning physical exploration into digital connection

The journey started with discovery. The app gave users full control over their experience. Through the event schedule, attendees could browse all sessions and tap the heart icon to create a personalized itinerary—making it easy to plan the day around what mattered most. To encourage exploration, we built a digital stamp system. Users scanned QR codes across six zones to collect stamps and unlock exclusive rewards. First-time users, after scanning their first stamp, were prompted to complete a short questionnaire—giving Paragon valuable insight while keeping the flow frictionless. User profiles gave longevity. Through the Skin Profile feature, attendees could input their own skin concerns and characteristics, giving context to their results. These profiles weren’t one-offs—they become data-rich touchpoints Paragon could use to build future experiences and deepen brand relationships. And when users were ready to act, they didn’t need to wait. Integrated product scanning and dynamic links to multiple e-commerce platforms meant visitors could shop their favorite products in real-time. The purchase itself was instant, with lines forming only during in-store pickup.

This wasn’t just about showing off innovation. It was about making innovation usable. Through the Beauty Tech Experience, we brought together Paragon’s most advanced AI-driven features—once scattered across separate platforms—into one fluid, intuitive experience. The AI innovation didn’t just make everything accessible, it enhanced the overall experience of the event, turning beauty exploration into something deeply personal and remarkably smooth.
Users could try real-time face analysis via Wardah Advanced Skinlab. They could explore the Colour Intelligence engine, test looks with Virtual Try-On, and receive tailored suggestions through Personal Color Analysis. Other tools came from across the Paragon brand universe, such as Make Over, Emina, Kahf, and Labore. Each delivering diagnostics, suggestions, or shade matches within seconds. Everything felt fast, responsive, and personal
These weren’t just tech demos. They were entry points into brand ecosystems. And they worked.
All of it ran on third-party Beauty Tech Experience platforms, integrated directly into our app. These platforms handled real-time data syncing, user activity tracking, AI-driven tools, and a reward system.
